Sa Dec Flower Village along the fertile banks of the Tien River boasts over 300 years of horticultural heritage, revered as the floral capital of Southern Vietnam. Every January in the prelude to Lunar New Year, endless nurseries transform into a dazzling kaleidoscopic carpet of millions of potted blossoms, cultivated atop traditional elevated bamboo trestles standing gracefully above canal waters. Visitors can glide on slender wooden sampans beneath canopying flower trellises, admire monumental floral sculptures at Sa Dec Central Park, savor steaming bowls of celebrated Sa Dec noodles, and witness lively fleets of cargo boats laden with vibrant blooms setting sail across the Mekong network to welcome Spring.
